Selectmen’s Minutes
May 6, 2002
Present: Judy Murdoch, Cathy Kuchinski, Stephanie McSweeney and Daniel Webster. (Peter Jones late) Also present Management Assistant Meredith Scozzari
7:15 p.m. Chairman Webster called the meeting to order.
Articles 34 – 38: Chairman Webster informed the Board that Attorney Thomas has been in contact with the Simonelli’s attorney and wishes the settle the matter regarding the conservation parcels. Chairman Webster suggested passing over all the article until October.
7:20 p.m. Mr. Jones arrived.
Discussion continued relative passing over all five articles. Mr. Webster would explain the situation to Town Meeting and then move to pass over.
MOTION by Murdoch, second by McSweeney to reconsider recommendations on Articles 34 – 38. Voted 5 – 0. to reconsider.
MOTION by Murdoch, second by McSweeney to pass over Article 34 – 38. Voted 5 – 0.
Police Union – Mr. Davis received at 5:00 p.m. the Union’s attorney’s revision of language regarding the Quinn Bill. The Union has voted to ratify the contract with the new language. Board agreed to table the matter until Tuesday. No action taken at this time.
